Start time 9:00AM 4th November 2018.
Parking is severely restricted at Duder Regional Park, we suggest either catching the bus from Te Puru Park (you must book) or get dropped off as early as you can.
The 10km race starts within Duder Regional Park near the main gate and proceeds along the metalled farm track, through a field before meeting up with Maraetai Coast Road.
Note that the Maraetai Coast Road is under traffic management control from the North Road corner until Maraetai Beach from 9.00am through to 10.30am. Traffic management will finish at 10.30am at the latest.
Walkers please note you must be able to complete the first 5km WITHIN 90 MINUTES. If you don't think you can achieve this then we suggest you enter the 5K event.
Once through Maraetai the course follows Tracey's Walk to Te Puru, with the finish in front of the Te Puru Community Centre.
Note this is a timed event, all bibs will contain a transponder on the back which will record you when you cross the timing pads. There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd runners, male and female and 1st place finisher for male and female in the walk.
Vertical Climb: approx 65m
Course: Generally flat, mainly road or concrete footpath, with some metalled track and grass
